I am a skilled Eating Disorder Therapist based in Portland, Oregon, and working online with clients throughout all of Oregon and California.

Disordered eating can show up in our lives for a variety of reasons. Oftentimes, behaviors may start off so gradually we might not recognize there’s a problem until things feel out of control. Clients come to me in all stages of treatment. Some have struggled privately for years, others are just at the beginning of their challenges. No matter which stage you find yourself, it’s a sign of courage that you’re here, looking for help. Change is possible.

My approach in treating eating disorders is that there are underlying reasons driving your behaviors and influencing your relationship with food and your body.

Your life story is an essential source of information. As I get to know you and your unique life circumstances, together we will uncover those underlying reasons. Perhaps there are unhealed or ongoing traumas in your life, or a low sense of self-worth. People often manipulate food as a coping strategy for unhealthy beliefs or life challenges and stressors.
